Ribbon Cutting Held for the Lake Oconee Builders Association’s New Location
The Greene County Chamber of Commerce and Eatonton-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce each held a ribbon cutting at the Lake Oconee Builders Association on July 17th. The Association better known as LOABA is a local trade association dedicated to the betterment of the local construction industry and works to serve our members, consumers and the community through education and public service. As the voice of the local construction industry, this association is committed to offering opportunities for its membership to improve their ability to conduct business with integrity.
LOABA moved to their new location in March of this year and has a very diverse membership that is open to one and all who work directly or indirectly with the building industry. The association is made up of builders, sub-contractors, banks, insurance companies, interior decorators, landscapers, legal and professional services, etc. Each year LOABA hosts an annual Home & Garden Show to expose the community to the diverse services offered through our many members. The Home & Garden show is scheduled for late March 2009.
To become a member of the association, businesses must complete an application of membership. Applications can be received from any current member of the association or by contacting their centrally located office at 1041 Village Park Drive, Suite 102 Greensboro, GA 30642 or (706) 999-1591 Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All applications of membership are approved by the Board of Directors.
